COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT

When developer Mitchell Davis helps cut the ribbon on his newly developed apartment complex, Jackie’s Crossing, on Jan. 20 in the heart of Marlton—which is also known as Evesham Township—it will represent his ongoing commitment and successful relationship with the township.

Davis is CEO of Marlton-based Davis Enterprises, and his Jackie’s Crossing is a 4-story 55-unit, market rate rental apartment complex comprised of 1-and -2-bedroom apartments and townhomes. Amenities include selective garages, a state-of-the-art fitness center, clubhouse and outdoor gathering space.

Davis has built some prominent properties in town, including The Promenade at Sagemore, an upscale shopping center with high end retail; the Allison and Sagemore Apartments; and The Weston Club, an adult community. “It’s our goal to cater to every lifestyle stage and income level, from young professionals to empty nesters to retirees,” explained Davis.

Next to Davis at the ribbon-cutting will be Marlton Mayor Randy Brown who has been an active partner with Davis on a number of projects.

Asked what makes Marlton attractive to companies, Davis replied, “Marlton is very business friendly, and goes out of its way to bring business into town. Marlton has been and continues to be a growth community in terms of the business scene and real estate market, which go hand-in-hand.”
